Not postponed but cancelled: ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ will not release in India

“We have been instructed by the traders that the appearance of the film has been postponed. We were informed this two-three days prior. No further date has been imparted to us,” a PTI report cited an INOX official as saying.
The authority added, “Zee Studios had procured the privileges of The Legend of Maula Jatt as they were anticipating that the film should get along nicely. But since of the opposition from specific segments, the choice was made to not deliver the film.”
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) trailblazer and head of their film wing Ameya Khopkar tweeted about the intersection out of the appearance of The Legend of Maula Jatt and expressed, “Impact Of Raj Thackeray’s Advance notice! After the advance notice given by MNS, the screening of the Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ has now been totally dropped.
